Does a Last Will & Testament Get a “Seal” on it to Prove it is Legitimate?

Many notaries employ the use of a seal or stamp to make the notarized document appear more ‘legal’. But the document is no more or less “legitimate” if a seal is placed on the document or not.

Since a person must sign the document, and since the notary must notarize the document, Standard Legal Network does not place any type of seal or stamp on the document as a general feature.

So long as the Last Will and Testament document is properly signed, witnessed and notarized per the instructions provided within Standard Legal’s Last Will and Testament legal forms software, an “official looking seal” is not required.
