The document structure would be incorrect to have just a single name on a deed with survivorship rights, as a Survivorship Deed must name the person to whom the right of survivorship would pass.
If any person is in the process of buying or selling a home with a Deed that is written as such, be advised that there may be some issues with the title to this real estate (i.e. title may not be properly held right now) if the language on the current deed is indeed listed as survivorship with only a single name as the owner. A matter such as this should be discussed with the title agency during closing, to ensure clean title.
