What if My Will Must Have Multiple Residual Beneficiaries?

Standard Legal prepares its Last Will & Testament documents to meet the most common needs of our customers. A situation with multiple Residual Beneficiaries is a bit different than many or most.

Perhaps a user in this situation should consider using Standard Legal’s Specific Gifting Last Will & Testament.

Using the Specific Gifting Will, the property or estate of the Testator (the person for whom the Will is being made, the person signing the Will) will be passed to those beneficiaries named by the Testator in the Will.

If the Specific Gifting document does not meet the Testator’s needs, another option would be to prepare the Last Will & Testament that best matches the needs in all other requirements besides the residual Beneficiaries and then prepare a Codicil to your Will listing the Residual Beneficiaries.
